Do you believe in the Law of Attraction? Throughout the years I’ve investigated the idea many times, become annoyed, and moved on with my life. However lately, the Truth of it has become undeniable.
My husband is a firm believer in the Law of Attraction. He’s preached at me about its power for decades! He comes from a culture of Karma and interconnectedness, so it’s not surprising that he’s attracted to LOA. In my husband’s world, universal laws are not that personal. They are simply the law and order of nature. There is not some long-haired god in the sky deeply interested in the workings of our everyday. Life is much more pragmatic for him:
“Being nice to others ensures that others will treat me kindly. And even if they don’t, I have a clear conscience.
“If I work hard at work and do well, I will be rewarded.”
“When I hope for the best and think positively about hard situations, eventually things will work out.”
“Bad things happen because that is life. Nothing more.”
The concept is that literally anything he puts out to the world (thoughts, actions, intentions) will be rewarded with like consequences.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. There is an interconnectedness to us all that is undeniable.
I encountered a situation recently where I found myself saying over and over “something has to change, something has to change, something has to change.” It came from a place of pure desperation. I didn’t know how that change was going to happen. It didn’t seem like there was a good way out. The cry out to the void had no end goal in mind. It was an open-ended plea.
However the desire for relief was strong.
The need for something to break, somehow, sent up a signal to the Ethers. Apparently.
And the situation did break. I found relief. It was not in a way that was “best case scenario”, but change came.
Now you might be saying “well Jessica things change all the time, so this could be a coincidence. Who’s to know if Law of Attraction played a part or not.”
I definitely hear you. I would have probably said the same thing.
But my unbelieving heart knew something happened there.
I asked. And it was answered.
In a fairly short period of time.
So give it a try. If you’d like. Tell the Universe what you Want out of this life
